How I hate them! These are what I call bridging scenes . For example: Jim killed a guy in the garage and has to go upstairs to get rags and sheets to take him away and clean up. We have to describe Jim going upstairs to get this stuff. OK, sometimes we can get away with writing βHe went upstairs and came back with rags and two thick sheets to pack the body,β but we can't always do that. I often read about them in novels, they are scenes that go smoothly without problems, but I imagine, at least for me, the writer's annoyance in writing them.
Do I have a method? No, I was hoping for your suggestion, to be honest. Sometimes the tell, don't show "trick" works, in fact, it should be used quite often, otherwise 200 pages of the novel are left with the Phone Number Data description of Jim who goes everywhere to do anything, even needs. But our history is full of scenes like those, or even others that must unite important scenes. Surely a method must be found. Because as much as I love writing about how George no longer finds his movie theater on 3rd Avenue and it's easy for me, it was pretty tough to write about how his wife walked into Sacks' room - I think I rewrote that scene 2 or 3 times.
Each banner, obviously, must be consistent with the others. It's the same for videos: with programs you can add texts, short but effective, which give readers precise messages. #11 β Don't forget the alt and title attributes The alternative text of images is not only useful from the point of view of page accessibility - if the image is not loaded, for example, the user will read the text contained in the alt attribute - but it helps search engines to understand what that image is about. Years ago I won a small SEO competition precisely on the positioning of an image.
